1. COMPLETION OF CONTRACT

With your registration, you acknowledge the general contract and travel conditions of FILOLO SPRACHFERIEN Sebastian Rueff (“Filolo”/ "we"/ "us"). The registration may be completed by e-mail, written, registration form, phone or in person. We will confirm your inscription by e-mail within seven days after receiving your registration. If the desired language courses should be already booked, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide an alternative.

2. TERMS OF PAYMENT

Together with the confirmation of inscription you will receive the invoice. The entire invoice must be transferred to our account within twenty days.

3. CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT

The cancellation of the contract has to be communicated with us as soon as possible. If you withdraw from the contract, the following cancellation fees are due:

- up to 30 days before the beginning of the language camp: CHF 450
- 29 to 14 days before the beginning of the language camp: 50% of the course price
- 13 to 7 days before the beginning of the language camp: 70% of the course price
- 7 to 1 day (s) before the beginning of the language camp 90% of the course price

There will also be no refund from the first day of stay or in case of an early cancellation of the course.

If the cancellation is due to proven serious medical or family reasons, please contact us immediately.

These costs are also refunded by a previously concluded cancellation insurance, which is the responsibility of the participants. Please note that the scope of service depends on the insurance company and the concluded conditions.

4. CHANGE OF RESERVATION

For a change of reservation before the start of the course we reserve the right to charge CHF 50 for administrative expenses.

No refund will be given, if you decide to leave a course earlier or if you shorten the reserved program.

In case of changes of any kind (accommodation, course, etc.) we ask you to inform us immediately about your desires.

5. COMPLAINTS

If you are not satisfied with the performance, please direct your complaint immediately to the camp direction. If the situation is not resolved to your satisfaction, please let us know immediately. Please note that complaints about which we are informed for the first time after the end of the stay can no longer be considered and any claims are excluded.

6. INSURANCE

Health and accident insurance: Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.

Participants from outside Switzerland: Switzerland is part of the Schengen Zone. As such, your travel insurance for Switzerland has to comply with Schengen Visa insurance requirements. Regardless of visa requirements, it is highly advisable to purchase a travel insurance policy when travelling to Switzerland. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.

In order to be protected in the event of a course cancellation, we recommend insurance that covers cancellations. Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.

7. CANCELLATION BY FILOLO

In the event that a Filolo language stay has to be cancelled, we'll offer you an alternative immediately or you will be refunded as soon as possible.

If a camp or camp week is cancelled for reasons of force majeure, we reserve the right to charge a processing fee of CHF 250. In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, however, we recommend insurance that covers cancellations.

8. LIABILITY

Filolo assumes no liability whatsoever other than that which is required by law. We are only liable for damages directly related to our services and at most with the amount paid to us. The period of liability is limited to the duration of the stay and does not include the arrival and departure.

Filolo explicitly declines any liability in the event of any breach of rules (alcohol or drug consumption, non-compliance with the rules of conduct and curfew times, in contravention of the instructions of the supervisory staff).

We do not accept any liability for valuables that are not deposited with our staff. Filolo is not obliged to look for and send back any forgotten belongings to their owner. We recommend to not take any expensive or valuable items to the camp.

No liability is accepted for changes to the programme due to delays or strikes. In particular, Filolo is not liable for changes to the programme, which are attributed to official measures, delays by third parties or force majeure.

9. PHOTOS, VIDEOS AND REFERENCES

We may use photos, videos and references that we make and receive during our activities for our website, brochures, or other promotional activities. Parents who do not agree to this may contact us in writing.

10. RIGHTS OF THE ORGANISER

We reserve the right to exclude students from the programme without the right of a refund if they, in our opinion, threaten other students or staff in any way, repeatedly violate the rules, unduly consume alcohol, drugs or impede the regular course schedule.

11. DISCLAIMER

Although the information on our website is continually updated and checked with regard to prices and scope of services of the courses, some information may not be correct. In this case, you can not rely on the information on the website.

12. JURISDICTION & OMBUDSMAN

Swiss law is applicable. Place of jurisdiction is Romanshorn.

If contrary to expectations, there is an argument, you can request your request to the independent Ombudsman of the Swiss Travel Industry (https://www.ombudsman-touristik.ch/home/).
